Delve Into The Twisting Catacombs Of Litchmyre Dungeon With Zealot
September 24, 2018 by brennon
Zealot Miniatures has teamed up with the masterful Boris Woloszyn for the Twisting Catacombs of Litchmyre Dungeon! This is an array of fantastic models which will certainly brew up a sense of nostalgia within you for the old days of HeroQuest.
The range, completely hand-sculpted by Woloszyn, brings to life not only the heroes of old but also many of the different foes that you might have seen on the front of that well-loved box.
A lot of folks have been talking about using these for a diorama where you re-create the cover image from HeroQuest but I think these need to be well painted and then used to death in games! It would be a shame to not see these heroes adventuring across the tabletop in board and role-playing games.
Of course, it wouldn't be a dungeon delve without some foes like these creatures.
These Orcs and Goblins are all packed with character and, knowing Zealot Miniatures, this is pretty spot on to the quality you're going to see when the Kickstarter finally delivers. If you want to get stuck into the entire set then they do have a pledge level for you.
As you can see there is a good mix of Goblins, Undead, Evil Wizards and of course the infamous Gargoyle for you to play around with.
Stretch Goals
Some great new figures have also been unlocked as part of the campaign including Graknor, the perfect Orc Warlord...
...and this wild looking Fire Mage, Bhardur. You could imagine him being a quirky friend or a very dangerous foe, burning everything in his wake.
Make sure to go and check out the rest of the campaign on the links above as this is going to be a very special one indeed. As well as fueling the nostalgia these are also superb miniatures for a landscape of hobbyists who are getting back into dungeon delving and role-playing games.
What do you think of these miniatures?
