Reach For The Stars In Lift Off!

Break out the bellbottoms, and put Yellow Submarine on the record player - we're going back to the 60s! In Lift Off, players are acting as space agencies, trying to navigate the great space race of the 50s and 60s.
Develop your agency, hire specialists, expand your research and improve your rocket in this retro resource management game. Decide which missions to plan and who in your crew will have the honour to travel into the unknown sky.
There is no rulebook as of yet, but Lift Off will be released at Essen later this year, and hopes are high. Designer Jeroen Vandersteen actually works at the European Space Agency, which provides a level of integrity to the research on the theme.
There's also no rulebook released yet, however with Hans im Glück games, often the rulebook is only provided when the game has been released. It's a shame, as it would be nice to see how the mechanic works, but the retro feel and theme have this self-confessed space nerd interested regardless. Looking forward to this at Essen.

This could be a great game for NASA to reduce costs? for the new moon mission’s.
I like the premise. I was hoping this was a board game of some sort. But as soon as I saw that it’s a card game I lost my enthusiasm.
I’m a minis guy at heart. Although I have been giving board games a second look these days.
