@querion yeah that was an epic battle report. First massive scale game I had ever had exposure to – this was years before Apocalypse got rolled out. It was in WD 248 and 249 in Australia, although I gather the numbering is slightly different here (numbers in the rest of the world are higher due to publication in Oz commencing later?).
@sundancer I remember the Ugh Lympics game 🙂 – a friend of mine had it. We never managed to get very far though…
@horati0nosebl0wer those are some great looking conversions. Do like Kung Fury – it’s like a half hour summary of everything I ever watched the 1980’s 🙂
Managed to get my Salamander sergeant assembled and converted up. I took photos but they turned out blurry.. Will try and assemble the rest of the squad tomorrow and prime once I have drilled out their gun barrels (I seem to have misplaced my pin vice which could just be natures way of telling me to clean my workbench…). Also cracked and started working on a couple of artillery pieces for Sharp Practice, and a squad of British Dragoons… Will additionally try and concurrently knock out a block of 36 heavy foot knights for 8th ed WHFB, but that will be more of a side project as it will just be a speedpaint.
