CoreBall Kickstarter Launching November 13th

Burning Games and Big Child Creatives are going to be launching their Kickstarter for CoreBall: The Zero Gravity Sport on November 13th!
CoreBall is a two to four player game which pits your futuristic teams against each other in a zero-gravity arena. Your characters can make immensely acrobatic plays but will have to temper this against inertia which hits at the end of their activations, maybe forcing them into hazards and more around the arena.
Gameplay takes place atop this 4x4 grid that you can see above and the gamespace is changing every round, making sure that each of the players has to think on their feet. Each of the teams also plays differently, bringing new tactics to the tabletop.
Games revolve around the scoring of victory points and, as with all good futuristic sports games, you can get points from maiming your foes as well as scoring goals.
Did I mention that the teams also look cool as all hell? I love the character designs here showing off some of the most epic sportsmen and women I think I've seen on the tabletop. This is then translated over into the miniatures too.
Big Child Creative is behind the miniatures you see here and they have really pulled out all the stops, creating models that look like they are in the middle of acrobatic feats that boggle the mind.
If you're interested in getting involved in the process of playtesting the game you can check out more about that HERE.
Also, make sure to keep an eye on their Facebook Page for more information throughout the run-up to the campaign.
Will you be checking this out?

So, it is like Blitzball (from Final Fantasy 10)?
I have a weakness for violent futuristic sports games. Count me in.
