Mix it Up in New Potion Explosion Expansion
September 12, 2018 by cassn
Horrible Games have finally released their second expansion to Potion Explosion. Potion Explosion: The 6th Student now allows up to six players to join in with the marble-matching fun and games.
Players now have the use of two dispensers, with the long-awaited plastic dispenser included in the expansion (also available in the second edition release).
There are also two new potions in the new expansion which allow player-to-player sharing, and a new ingredient - mandragora leaves. Mandragora leaves act as wild marbles and can count as any colour, however, they cannot be combined with other ingredients.
We loved playing Potion Explosion in the office when it was first released, so we're pretty excited to see an expansion released. The only real change in the second edition, however, is the plastic dispenser, and I feel that it could have just been released as an optional component.
Regardless, this should prove to be a fun expansion to an already classic, family-friendly game when it is released at Essen in October.
Have you played Potion Run before?
