River Horse’s Hunger Games Board Game Hits Kickstarter In October
September 10, 2018 by brennon
River Horse are going to be landing on Kickstarter October 1st 2018 with their Hunger Games: Mockingjay - The Board Game.
The game will no doubt bring to life the struggle of the rebellion for control of Panem.
"Panem is in revolt. After Katniss escaped from the quarter quell to the mysterious District 13, she joined an all-out rebellion. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - The Board Game is a strategic board game where two to four players must employ all their wits in order to free or control Panem."
There's not much more to go on right now for the game BUT make sure to keep an eye us as we'll no doubt be talking to River Horse nearer the time about what you can expect.
Are you interested in the idea of playing out these moments from The Hunger Games story?

Maybe this appeals to others more strongly, but to me this feels like an IP that is late to market.
A license I can happily pass.
Although i wish them a succesful campaign, i too feel that IP is late to the gaming table…
I don’t get it, looking at the board, this will only interest the strategy board game players, so why bother with the wargame quality models, could just use pawns or standees and sell for half the price.
Can you get the figure’s separate they are nice.
pass 4 sure
A few years late, but meh. May the odds be in their favor. (or something like that lol)
I think Hunger Games is another movie series that suffered the Matrix flaw… both were interesting movies, but should have been solo, not series.
Mockingjay Part One was the one most tedious movies I sat through… you could easily skip that completely and just watch 1, 2 and 4.
