About the Project
We have a new blood bowl league starting soon at my local game store, I have taken part in the previous two using a Human team but decided a while ago that I would like to give a chaos pact team a try, After seeing what options for the models were available I decided to go in on a late pledge for the Willy miniatures Chaos Pact kickstarter, I have had the models for quite a while now and had only built them but as the new league is starting soon I thought I had better get some paint on them, I also recently purchased the army painter mega paint set so thought I would have ago at painting them up just using these paints and has nothing to do with me being too lazy to get my other paints out of where I stored them while our house is up for sale.

Flocking the bases
With the new league starting on Monday I thought I had better get these guys finished so completed the highlighting left to do then flocked the base, for flocking I use a Gaugemaster scenic puffer bottle, I originally brought it to flock gaming board but found it had good results on miniature bases too.
Have now completed the rest of the shading using strong tone on the clothing and dark tone on the metal then added Pure red to the armour etc as their team colour, I also painted the bases ready for flocking once I have finished the high lights.
I started the basecoating by painting the skin of the marauders and Ogre Barbarian flesh, the skin of the dark Elf and Skaven Elven flesh, the skin of the Troll Scaly hide and the skin of the Minotaur Monster brown, I then painted the fur on the marauders Monster brown and the cloth and straps Leather brown, next I painted all the armour areas Plate Mail metal followed by painting all the skulls Skeleton Bone, I then shaded the Marauder, Ogre, Dark Elf and Skaven skin with flesh wash and the Troll and Minotaur with strong tone.
Next step was to undercoat, I wanted to use a light colour so went for GW Corax white as I find the Armypainter white spray a bit grainy no matter how much I shake it, Corax white has a nice smooth finish plus its more of a very light grey rather then a brilliant white.
