The two forms of magic in Conquest are Primordial Magic and Faith Magic.

Primordial Magic is the force that created the world itself, wielded by "Gifted" individuals.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the spectrum, we find Faith Magic. Or is it magic? Most practitioners of it would argue that it is completely different. And who is going to argue with someone who has a little divine intervention at their fingertips?

Para Bellum goes on to talk about the two different Caster Characters you can include in your armies, Wizards and Priests, and how spellcasting works out in the game.

Magic is one of the things that most draws me into a game and setting. Having an interesting magic system that informs the character and style of the world is something I always look for.

The delineation between Primordial Magic and Faith Magic is one I find particularly intriguing and one I want to see explored further, both in the game's background and in the game itself.

Take a look at Para Bellum's blog post and let us know what you think of their approach to magic.
