Micro Art Hit The Wall With Aristeia! Obstacles
August 27, 2018 by dracs
Micro Art Studio have released a new set of walls and obstacles to use in your games of Aristeia!
These terrain pieces fit with Aristeia!'s hex-based gameplay, forcing you to re-think your tactics and movement as they cut off parts of the table from you.
I always like seeing in-game advertising like this used with terrain pieces. It helps with the world building and tells you a lot about the setting beyond the game itself.
Maybe this is something we should start bringing into real-world games. How much better would Rugby be if they also had to navigate a maze while they were at it?
Let us know your thoughts on these below.

Good looking billboards to precinct’s and shopping centers.
Think these add a lot to the board, will be one for the shopping list
These would work great for infinity scatter terrain as well.
I may dirty them up a little bit and put some Imperial Guard recruitment posters on them. Or some Inquisition “Have you seen this Heretic?” posters…
I saw something a while back where a guy took one of the Chessex dice boxes (the clear plastic rectangle with a black base) and put printed out signs on them on regular paper and then back lit them with a small LED. Perfect scale and looked pretty awesome.
