1)  If you had to play one game for the rest of your life what would it be?

D&D. No doubt. Its my core hobby.

2) How did you learn of BOW and why did you become a member of the community?

Believe I discovered the weekender by accident on YouTube, and joined backstage because I wanted more weekender.

3) What do you enjoy the most about your hobby?

Unsurprisingly, as an RPG guy, I like creating characters and stories. I do the same thing in wargames – it’s always about making up my own factions, background, and heroes.

4) where would you be if you weren’t working where you work?

Well, where I am now is in the job you end up in when you’re not doing the job you love. So I’d like to be doing that. Whatever that is.

I’d say the one bit of my job that I do love is being a shop steward. So I guess if I had my way I’d be getting paid to fight the good fight.

5) what is your favourite genre to play games in?

Probably fantasy. First love never dies and all that.

6) what are your job roles where you work?

The company pays me to be a personal injury claims handler.

Whether they like it or not, I’m also a workplace & health & safety rep.

7) what did you do before your current job?

I worked in a call centre for nearly 6 years. Before that I was in retail for 3 years. At least each job has been slightly more bearable than the one before.

Before that I was a student, which was the best job I ever had.

8) favourite all time game?

Probably Deadlands. First edition.

9) what do your co-workers think is your expertise?

Kicking arse and taking names. In all seriousness, I’m an effective communicator, skilled negotiator, and when it’s called for, an imposing debater.

10) favourite alcoholic and non alcoholic drink?

Alcoholic: Gin & Tonic. Non-alcoholic: Cherry Pepsi Max.

11) spare time hobby thats not gaming related?

I’m a bit of a hobby butterfly. I collect watches & vintage razors. Play Bass guitar. Had many other hobbies over the years which have fallen by the wayside, most notably all the physical stuff, which is why I’m about 6 stone heavier than I used to be.

12) what do you think others say is your most irritating trait?

I’m argumentative & self righteous.

13) can you lick your own nose?

No. But the great thing about being part of a community is we can all lick one another’s noses, right?

14) what do you like the most and hate the most about your job?

Hate the pressure, the insurmountable workloads, the inescapable feeling that everything I’m doing is pointless, and I’m not making the world a better place by doing it.

Love when I win, and I actually get to help somebody. Sometimes lots of somebodies.

15) favourite candy bar

Snickers.

16) favourite book

Ooh. Really hard question.

If I had to choose just one book, It’d be Ian M Banks The Use of Weapons.

But the book I’d tell everyone else to read is the ragged trousered philanthropists.

17) favourite pizza

Dominos Texas BBQ.

18) favourite movie

Again, super hard question. Maybe the shawshank redemption.

19) favourite band

Feels a bit tragic to say this, but I think it might be Weezer.

20) who from the BOW would you eat in a zombie apocalypse?

Everybody said they’d eat Warren first, but they haven’t thought it through. You eat the skinny dudes first because the big dudes last longer. It would certainly be mighty tempting to tuck into Warren straight away, but the reality is, there will still be plenty of Warren to get your teeth into a couple of months into the apocalypse.

So Id start with Sam, while there’s still some eating on him.
