I had to have a good think about this as over the years I’ve picked up a ton of tabletop games. If I purely base the answer on quality of product in terms of miniatures then I have to say Wild West Exodus. Now this was well before Warcradle took over the reins and I don’t know (I bloody hope they don’t) if they still use the same guys to produce their resin mini’s but the quality of the miniatures I received after putting in a sizeable order on the Wild West Exodus website was dreadful. I had big holes in models where the mini’s hadn’t been cast properly, missing details, broken parts, horrible mold lines that had eaten into the mini’s themselves. I was really looking forward to getting into the game and I think the order I placed was around the £250 mark so a fair amount to splash out in one go and I’ve never felt so let down in terms of what I received.

Luckily they replaced some of the broken mini’s after I emailed them but after receiving them I decided to not bother at all and sold the lot of Ebay to recoup some of the money.

The lesson I learnt from that was never ever take renders of miniatures as any sign of what the actual product will look like.

In terms of gameplay I’d say I’ve been quite fortunate to not really have invested in a tabletop game that I haven’t enjoyed. Even when AoS was launched and I admit the rules were shoddy they were pretty much bare bones but I knew it was GW essentially doing a factory reset on WFB which in my opinion having played WFB for many years was due.
