Deep Cut Head To The Shoreline With New Fisherman’s Guild Mat
August 22, 2018 by brennon
Deep Cut Studio is heading to the shoreline and engaging in a bit of Guild Ball with a new mat design for the Fisherman's Guild. This is another of their officially licensed mats for the game where each is themed to fit a particular guild.
The pitch shows off a proper seaside theme where your Guilds are duking it out on the sand rather than traditional grass. Each of the goal areas is signified with a section of decking and the markings on the pitch are designed to look like a rope which has been laid down from the seafront to further inland.
I think this is a nifty looking pitch which continues down the route we've seen from Deep Cut where they embrace character and narrative in their pieces, providing little bits of story for you to get involved with as you play your games.
For example in this piece, we have the wrecked fishing boat up in the top corner which might now be a place where some of the crowd gathers to watch the game.
Will you be snapping this up?

I’d shell out a few bucks for this mat. It’s quite the catch. Need to reel this into my collection. Ok, done .. or .. Fin ;D
Ooo I like
Really like the look of this, and based on the ratcatchers and other mats I have from them the quality is excellent
If you boot the ball into the sea, you have to get it yourself
