Old School Titan Colours - Putting the Fabulous back into Fabricator General
Time to take a break from banners to focus on banners.
See what I did there? Well it makes sense in a Titanicus way. So in the game Groups of Knights are called banners… and I have been working on banners for my titans… see? See what I did there? Genius. Or not. You choice.
So I want to make sure that the Knights are going to fit in with my theme but inspiration was a bit hard to come by. Looking at the old Knight painting themes they seem a bit bland…
Mainly two block colours… which I concede is my level of painting skill. But the whole point of this project is to push myself. Although the new knights are a bit more colourful I still want more. So I have kept looking and I have found my inspiration! Robots – specifically the Legio Cybernetica but not the new ones from Forgeworld – which are mainly red, the old imperial ones.
Look at them! I think they hit the nail on the head… now I just need to become a good painter, or else come up with some cheats that will make it look similar to how they appear.
Seriously, who wouldn’t mind being destroyed by these snazzy gentlemen?
