We have another awesome sneaky peek for you today from the folks at Corvus Belli. Here we have the ALEPH Rebots...
Here's a little more about these funky Rebots that might be...just a tad...inspired by something called Ghost In The Shell?
"Rebot is the acronym for Remote Robot. They are versatile devices able to complete a wide variety of combat tasks depending on the equipment they are installed with. The Special Situations Section loves to deploy large numbers of these small autonomous units throughout the battlefield.
They are like a small plague that spreads the chaos and confusion necessary for the rest of the attack forces to be able to reach their objectives. Designation of the different Remote models that make up the Rebots are based on ALEPH Bet, the Hebrew alphabet. Monitoring and surveillance Rebots receive the codename Daleth.
The letter Zayin, meaning “Weapon”, has served to baptize ALEPH’s offensive-defensive artillery Rebots. SSS mobile artillery platforms are based on the standard Rebot model but are equipped with smart warhead missile systems and a reinforced link to combat monitoring networks.
Their firepower and destructive capabilities are such that they have received the name Samekh Rebots; this letter means “Support Giver” or “Trust”. Lamedh Rebots for their part, are small, lightweight, and very fast units in charge of vanguard support tasks in advanced info-war scenarios."
The set will feature two miniatures which can be assembled in four different ways so you have plenty of options!

Definitely plan to check these out. Was Hyped for the JSA stuff till ALEPH turned up. Now ALEPH is where I want to be.
CB’s newer kits are doing a great job enhancing the table top asthetic of all the armies.
Just hope they don’t release anything else to derail my latest hype train journey.
The miniatures have won with the new sculpted but those who really need it are the Probots
i quite liked the old ones, but i prefer the new ones. chunky and dangerous looking. I know many prefer the look of the spider remotes to the wheeled variety but the wheels just scream Ghost in the shell. the usual in depth and well reasoned lore from the master scribe.
honestly, i like the old ones better. these are still impressive models, but…

Definitely pulling some inspiration from the GitS aesthetic here, while at the same time going very angular and ‘harsh’. Some very nice sculpts!
Over all I like it for being a dirty Aleph robot. But the weapon pod being in the head and so low looks weird.
Love this game.
Love these minis.
But, the minis use to be so much more dynamic, flowing and varied.
Now everything is starting to look kinda same-y.

Between starting Tunguska and Vedic coming out I already have my next purchase ready: Rebots, Beyond Coldfront, Hecklers and Hollow Man.
My bank account is hoping they stop with the great miniatures for a month or two at least…
