If you have never checked it out, make sure to delve into The Hobby Weekender, a forum topic which gives everyone a little bit of a boost of encouragement for whatever hobby you may indeed be delving into.
As well as talking about hobby within the thread they also give you a chance to get your teeth into lots of music, stories from other community members and of course...plenty of jokes. It wouldn't be our community without loads of ace jokes.

I’ve only really been commenting on o the Hobby Weekender since the move to BOW 2.0 , but it’s now become a regular part of my hobby time . To me its like hanging out at the local hobby shop , you see some faces every week , some guys every couple of weeks and some guys only once in a while , And while you all might play different games , D&D , 40K , Bolt Action , etc , etc , what you have in common , the love of slapping paint on plastic and glue on your… Read more »

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I must admit to not really getting what this thread was about before. It seemed pretty random and as I was checking it midweek, after the event, the couple of times I dipped into it I hadn’t got what was going on. But now the penny has dropped. So if I am daubing paint or, sitting looking at my lead/resin/plastic mountain at a bit of a loose end on a Saturday, as is occasionally the case, I shall be joining in the fun! Great stuff! @osbad there is a certain amount of randomness to some of the topics our rambling conversations can get into, but that does rather become part of the fun 🙂
All props to @mage though for keeping running herd on the threads. I’ve tried it myself when he’s needed o recharge and good grady is it harder than it looks 😀
