This is the future. In the end it will also be used as a tool to develope games.
I wonder whether it is possible to include house rules into a game. I know people who just can´t live with parts of certain rulesets. They change the rules to their liking. How can they carry on using the app?

I guess as a teaching tool it should be ok, but as you say the moment you use it to ‘run’ a game house rules are always going to be tricky or impossible (although the reason people houserule is often annoyance with bookkeeping & other stuff that having an app run the game make unnessesary)

I really like the idea but I’m super cautious about this.

The Blood Rage tutorial app looks amazing. I backed the indiegogo fundraiser for the Dized App – for the planned Scythe tutorial app. Perhaps I am too stupid or lazy, but as much as I love leafing through rule books looking at the graphics and reading the background and immersing in the theme, I find it really difficult to learn to play a game just by reading the rules. Even watching the ever excellent Rodney Smith What it Played videos does not help me when I have to actually play a game (usually solo) myself, as I just cannot seem… Read more »

It is a very good concept. I can see this app being great to give people early access to rules and visualise them before sitting down to a new game.
A very cool idea.

This looks brilliant and I’m super keen to support this because learning a new game is a massive drag. It is only going to be as good as the library of games they manage to complete support for. They aren’t going to get anywhere with two and although that is proof of concept it isn’t much more than that yet. I’d love for OTT to check in with them at Essen or at GenCon next year to see how they are getting along.

Wow I’m pretty blown away by the quality of this. I can’t see any reason why a company would not want to support this.
