Titans Clash and Heroes Fight For Middle-Earth at Games Workshop

Games Workshop have brought a lot of exciting new releases with them, letting fans and players get their first look at the miniatures for Adeptus Titanicus and The Battle of Pelennor Fields.

They also have a bunch of exclusive new board games that will be heading out for retail at locations such as Barnes & Noble.

GW just makes the most detailed minis on the market …

The most detailed plastic mini’s I can get behind, but the most detailed mini’s, no definitely not.

i’d argue KD:M for plastics to be honest although GW do make some nice stuff

Kingdom Death: Monster is on par with GW in my opinion and both are also very much on the edge of what it possible with plastics at this moment.

Kill Team looks awesome and it looks like so much fun to play. I can’t wait for the new Lord of the Rings game as welll.

The Pelennor thing and Kill Team: Yes, that is something. Hope there will be a Chaos Space Marine faction for the latter.

Interesting to see GW targeting games specifically at mainstream retail outlets again (unless I misunderstood?).

Barnes and Noble has added ‘geeky’ niche toys and games to their stores in recent years. Presumably B&N is expecting exclusive GW products to bring in more customers while GW gets to market to more casual players. I’m with you, will be interesting to see how this goes.

What a difference a few years make.I remember you guys being told to stop filming at games day not so long back, and now they have people like James fronting a stand at gencon.

It really is astonishing when you look back at the attitude the company developed from 2010 or so onwards.

Kill Team is calling my name. I was intimidated when I heard about the size of the rulebook, but then found out it’s mostly lore.

The new and improved GW is way better, a breath of fresh air compared to the old oppressively corporate ways. Definitely want to get in on kill team and I have a mighty need for titanicus.

Games Workshop are killing it this year! Excited for Kill Team, but more excited at the possibility of a movie/TV series based in the Warhammer universe 🙂
