Plastic Soldier Release Range Of 1/300th Planes For Your Aerial Battles
August 2, 2018 by brennon
Plastic Soldier Company has now released a range of 1/300th Scale Planes for you to use in your aerial dogfights on the tabletop. I have picked out some of the newer ones from their range with the likes of the Dornier 77s...
...and additionally, we also have the Heinkel 111 and the Junker 88s.
Of course, this might be a good alternative for those looking to expand their Blood Red Skies collection with some new big bombers.
There are over ten different sets of planes for you to snap up so make sure to delve in and see if some of these planes appeal to you.
Which of them are your favourites?

Ooh they look good.
Not as easy as it sounds tho, as don’t you need the special bases, base inserts, and cards for Blood Red Skies?
Nope but you could simulate some of the stuff with the bases and such with tokens and whatnot – still, a nice option for someone to tinker around with.
True you don’t need all the cards etc for the bombers in blood red skies, but bombers are really only objectives atm in the game.
Ah wasn’t sure if you needed specific stuff to use them in BRS. Also Didn’t PSC bring out a Battle of Britain game (for which I presume these bombers were intended)?
Dornier 17’s….
These would be great for the 1:300 scale ww2 wargamer. All we have had for years are white metal minis that weigh a ton when you get a lot of them. Aircraft go on stands so having quality, lightweight models is a boon. ow, how about 1:300 scale ground forces? 🙂
Theye are 1/300 scale and blood red skies is 1/200 they are too small. and you can get JU88s already for BRS which come with all the widgets and cards etc. There are other air combat games that use 1/300 scale though. Nice models though.
Which does then beg the question what the point of putting energy into something like this is. Sure someone will be able to use them and its not the most complicated project, but it still requires time and resource to realise.
Probably because 1/300 is still by far and away the most popular scale for air gaming followed by 1/600 for games like Check your 6
PSC make Battle of Britain by Richard Borg. I imagine these are an off-shoot of that game.
These are from the Battle of Britain KS and are the second batch as first had problems with bendy plastic. These are much better models. My issue is with the stands, none of my planes fit and won’t stay on the peg they are way too small and are cheap Chinese quality. The answer from PSC is to use larger stands for bombers as there are 2 types or glue them. Large stands also don’t work and glueing will cause storage problems and what would I do with the extra planes bought in KS. Won’t KS with PSC again, my game… Read more »
Blu Tack on the peg should sort the problem. Not ideal, but a workable solution.
Hi I had thought of that but so pissed off I’ve just shoved he box away and started concentrating/ painting some of my many other projects. You know the plastic and metal mountain.
This game should be playable out of the box without any DIY
