A nice touch that the bases are on the frame.

Here are the pieces from the first banshess I assembled. Man, are these delicate. You need some good pliers snips and a Stanley knife. Be careful!!!

I did not plan this well and only laid out the pieces for two of the banshees, but I think they give a clear representation of the rest of the kit. And again, look at that detail, and the beautiful greenish blue

Now, these are referred to as ‘Easy to Build.’ While they are not snap fit, I am not sure about these and a new player or hobbyist.

They are quite delicate, and you need to angle your tools carefully around where the frame meets the mini. Ive been hobbying for 21 years and even I managed to make a hand snap off from shearing, and I have put thousands of miniatures together in resin, plastic and metal.

While there are less parts and good instructions, they are still oh so delicate, even after clipping them off. Putting them together was a tad tedious, but nowhere near as bad as the Spirit host kits. Still, they don’t go together like orcs, guardsmen or Space Marines.

Also, if you get duplicates, the sculpted bases become noticable, even if you paint the roses, timber, graves or metal on them in a different colour. I think they could have done with ordinary bases included as well.

I will stress again and say the instructions are good. While they are a tad irritating to put together, I still had fun and the end result is good. The price is right, so this fiddley kit has more going for it than against it. Plus they are magic eating Banshees and look at those awesome poses.

    Look at the sweeping poses:

Gaps are another thing that lets them down though

Bare in mind these pictures were all taken indoors and at night

It is almost a shame to throw these pretty green, or are they blue, frames out…

So whats next? Ive primed them. I will post more pictures as I go on, but from here, the review of the kit is done.

The shoulder gaps are certainly a thing. I have all the new Stormcast ones and the suffer the same issue.
