Let’s Play: D&D Tomb Of Annihilation Board Game
August 23, 2018 by dignity
Join us as we delve into the jungles of Chult in the Dungeons & Dragons Tomb of Annihilation Board Game from WizKids.
We're playing with the premium edition of the game which comes some with all of the 42 miniatures pre-painted allowing you to get stuck straight into the game.
We play adventure three of thirteen and give you an idea for how this RPG adaptation plays out.
Would you give your DM the night off and try this board game version?

Is it a thinky adventure?
For some reason when I saw the graphic for this vid my brain parsed ‘Tomb of Anhilation’ as ‘Tomb of Horrors’ and now I really want to see you guys doing a let’s play braving the original ToH (and no nicking the doors to fund an entire army of henchmen ?).
I have the Ravenloft version of that game which I haven’t played in ages…
How old is that video? Didn’t Az defect to France months ago?
@Torros… Thinking not required for that game system… simplistic dungeon crawler which is essentially one large combat scene…
I was kinda taking the p*ss given the games name
I believe it was back at the start of the year we sat down to record this
nothing like a walk in the woods! beasty chopping?
Of all the D&D boardgames, ToA is the best to play and there are other adventure available in the BGG files archive to play even more. However, ToA has the WORST components. They are plain bad in comparison to the 3 games.
Oh geez… it got a bit shaky there… it really portrays the unforgiving brutal jungle!
I really enjoyed this play through.
You can also pick up the digital format of the game on Steam.
