Plaid Hat Games Enter The Dreamscape with Comanauts

Plaid Hat Games has announced yet another board game with Comanauts! Based on the very successful mechanics that drove Stuffed Fables we're now entering the dreamscape of Dr Strobal’s mind.

The game is designed for a slightly older audience than that of Stuffed Fables and has you wandering through the same Adventure Book format. Here's some more on the game from Plaid Hat...

"This exciting game builds on the mechanics first introduced in Stuffed Fables, providing a new experience for more mature players. Race against time to revive Dr Strobal by exploring his tormented mind. As players work together to uncover the secrets of the doctor's subconscious, they will follow his inner child across eleven different Comazones.

There they will attempt to locate and overcome the Inner Demon that holds Dr Strobal hostage. Assume the role of twenty-two unique avatars as you explore the dangers and secrets of each world locked inside the doctor’s dream. Can you free Dr Strobal from his own mind before it’s too late?"

It sounds like a fascinating idea and it's interesting to see this pop up in the back of games like Holding On: The Troubled Life Of Billy Kerr. It does something interesting the concept of human dreams and thought and should hopefully tell an engaging story as well as provide folks with good gameplay.
