House Rules get a big Yeah from me.

I especially enjoy ‘Ruling on the Fly’ so in order to facilitate a cool moment in the game I’d agree with my opponent a method to test for the action (like breaking through a wall etc)

Also to make things more killy adding a simple addition of exploding sixes (where you get to re-roll sixes to add more wounds etc) can definitely add to the excitement and dynamic of a game
