Knight Models Release Marvels Most Heavy Metal Heroes
February 7, 2014 by dracs
Alongside their latest releases into the DC Universe, Knight Models have two new 35mm sculpts for Marvel. This proves that when it comes to super hero minis they are the best there is at what they do and what they do is awesome!
Iron Man and Wolverine are two of the most recognizable heroes of Marvel's comics. One a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, the other living proof that not all Canadians are really polite, these two 35mm sculpts do a great job in capturing the iconic appearances of these two characters.
Will you save the day with Iron Man? Or does the wild fury of Wolverine appeal to you more?

Is there a game as well?
I read (somewhere) that there will be. It seems likely that the rules will be similar to their Batman game although personally, once they fill out the roster a little, I will probably pick a few of these up for Supersystem (KS coming soon!), Pulp City (KS in progress) or even Marvel Heroic Role playing although it isn’t especially suited to miniature use.
With all the different franchises available nowadays, you could have some big mashup style games eg. batman vs judge dredd, aliens vs judge dredd (both of which are actual comic books). Although the new superhero minis are a bit large at 35mm. I wonder about having a suitable gaming board though.
Can I just say, that Iron Man model has a stunning paintjob on it. NMM at its best..
Talk about excellent paint job. WOW!
