Archon Studio Bringing Back Vanguard Of War With Added Zombies

Archon Studio is going to be coming back to Kickstarter on 17th July for the second printing of Vanguard Of War. This time, however, the game is going to be coming to Kickstarter alongside a new Heroes Vs Zombies expansion.
The Core Game had you playing as a selection of heroes who were battling against wave upon wave of bad guys in a tower defence style game for the tabletop. Each of your unique skills and abilities fed into the way you could help protect that central nexus from attack by outside forces.
These are some of the kinds of demonic forces that you were clashing with on the tabletop...
...with a final clash being against the deadly Overlord Bosses that could potentially spell disaster for your plans and have you trying again.

Humans Vs Zombies
What makes every game better? Zombies clearly! So, the new expansion to the game adds in a new wave of the undead shepherded into this tower defence game under the crook of a new Overlord.
The new expansion adds in Morrigan The Zombie Queen alongside a host of Spitters, Slammers and Runners that will each test you in different ways as you make your way through the different stages of the game.
More is also coming in the form of additional Add-On packs which will help provide you with an exhaustive list of monsters, heroes and missions to try and undertake.
The Kickstarter Draft Page for the game is already up and running so if you have some suggestions as to what you'd like to see, what needs changing, discuss the game with the designers and developers or anything else in between there's a place to do that.
With new Gamemodes, new expansions, a tweak on the rules and more this could be the version to get stuck into.

Missed the first kickstarter…will not miss it this time around! This game looks freaking awesome!
Wow brilliant figure’s a lot of corruption in many of them.
I did back this the first time and I have to say the figures are excellent. The detail is great. You do have to be careful though as they can be a bit brittle (I broke one – my fault). They’ve even encased the miniatures in foam in the box so they don’t get damaged.
I really enjoyed this game, however I hate the design of the map board, it’s too messy 🙁
I was all in on the first kickstarter, and I really like the game. And the figures are just gorgeous. I’m not too sure I’ll be backing this one. Mostly because I don’t reallylike the zombie minies. The queen just doesn’t look so nice to me. Which is purely my own personal opinion off course. I am interested in the new playmodes though…so I might back just for that.
