Warploque’s Forest Troll Burst To Life In A Month Of Miniatures!
July 7, 2018 by brennon
The Forest Troll is the latest of the monsters to come to life for Warploque Miniatures' ArcWorlde. Once again they've hit it out of the park with the sculpt and design for this creature.
"Amongst the mighty trees of Mildaark dwell the Forest Trolls, some of the largest of the troll-kin. Their bodies have evolved to blend in with their environment, with moss, fungus and even small trees growing amongst the matted hair covering their massive frames. They use this camouflage to conceal themselves from unsuspecting prey as they lie in wait, often for days at a time.
Unlike most trolls they are omnivorous, supplementing their diet of meat with roots, leaves and even the bark and branches of trees. They are sometimes attracted to travelling warbands, where they are utilised as beasts of war - smashing apart the enemy with sweeping blows and goring them with their tusks."
I think you'll agree that the model itself is superb and shows off a nice, different, take on the style of Troll they have been working on. You now have a vast selection of them that you can drop into your games as wandering monsters.
I love the shaggy fur and the posing is just right for ambushing some hapless heroes as they wander off the beaten path. I very much get a vibe of Trollhunter from the design too.
Talking of monsters; Warploque is going to be having a month of models throughout July so watch out to see what's next!
I am looking forward to seeing what pops up each week and where they do next with the range as a whole with expansions and the like.
What do you make of the big ol' Forest Troll?

That is very nice.
Wow. I have the previous forest troll and it’s ruddy lovely. This is even ruddy lovelier.
a fabulous looking troll.
He looks almost happy, in a psychotic sort of way.
Really like their trolls (and all their monsters really).
Warploque the home of quality monsters
I love the “blue bird of happiness” singing over his shoulder
