Tower Miniatures Bring Ridge Trolls From Under The Bridge To Kickstarter
July 6, 2018 by brennon
Tower Miniatures is a new company from the West Midlands here in the UK who have taken to Kickstarter with their project for the Ridge Trolls, a set of monstrous beasts for you to use in your role-playing games and wargames.
Named Ridge Trolls because of the iconic row of spines down their backs, these Trolls have been designed with a look to them which matches well with those who loved the Rock Trolls of Warhammer Fantasy Battles and the Old World.
The set breaks down into a set of Ridge Trolls and then a Wrecking Troll who is spewing bile and all sorts of terrible fluids across your foes.
This 'look' for the Trolls is one that I have always liked and it is a defining image of those old Orc & Goblin armies from back in the days of Warhammer Fantasy Battles.
The set will be digitally sculpted and then produced locally here in the UK using high-quality resin. This is their first Kickstarter, from a new company, but the designs are looking very good indeed and if they manage to pull it off I'd love to see them branch out and do more monsters and characters.
What do you think?

Those remind me about GW trolls from 5th edition and 6th edition of WHFB but looking more modern.
Fabulous looking new troll’s for gaming with.
I love trolls, and these are excellent
Too cartoony for me. I’ll have me some Antlantis Miniatures trolls any day.
Like the look of them… but buying 1 troll for 13 pounds and then having to pay 12.50 for shipping… that’s anything but not reasonable. And it’s all just renders. Shame, the would have made a lovely addition to my blood bowl night goblin team.
