PSC Games are on Kickstarter once more with another of their Historical board games. This one is Ian Brody's Quartermaster General: The Cold War.

The Cold War - PSC Games

The game is a fast-paced card game where you will be playing as the major powers during the period and teetering on the edge of nuclear war. The main focus of the game falls around three 'Blocs' which will be battling it out against each other to secure power across the globe.

The Cold War (Rear) - PSC Games

Each of you is enemies of the other, but you can work together to form temporary alliances if you wish for mutual gain. The emphasis is also on espionage and posturing from behind your wall of tanks, planes and submarines but if military options are the only way forward you might have to be prepared to accept nuclear consequences!

The Cold War (Components) - PSC Games

The game looks nice and compact and offers up the chance to play through the Cold War period with more players than something like Twilight Struggle. Whilst that is a good, tense, two-player game it's nice to be able to engage more players (up to two per side) so you can get some table talk and planning going.

What do you think?
