Wild West Exodus Welcomes Two New Posse Sets To The Dust Bowl

Warcradle has two new Posse Sets for you to snap up for Wild West Exodus this month. The first of these is the one that really caught my eye, the Infernal Investigations team.

Here's some more about the set and its background...

"With the constantly growing threat from unknown quarters in the West, the small unit known as Infernal Affairs have found themselves in high demand of late.

Led by the indomitable Marshall Helena Miller this Posse are used to fighting and defeating, the most unusual and terrifying opponents to Law and Order. Backed up by Furio Montoya, Jedrick Powell, Mercury Jones, Ida Saxon and Blackhoof 20-20, Marshall Miller tackles those missions that nobody else wants or is likely to come back from alive."

I think the real gem of the set has to be Thirty/Thirty...I mean, Blackhoof 20-20 as they've called him. I love the idea of getting stuck into the painting with this set and giving them all a very individual look, maybe tied together by the basing. It would certainly push the character specific edge to this set.

Dixie Resurrection Posse

As well as these fellows above we have perhaps the other side of the coin in the Dixie Resurrection Posse.

Here's more about this particular crop of characters...

"While a Peer of the Covenant of the Enlightened, Annabelle Hamilton’s first devotion has always been to the cause of the Confederacy of Southern States. She longs for an opportunity to throw a spanner in the gears of the Union of Federated States and hopes that one day her dream of The South rising again will be realised through her actions.

Often seen in the company of Captain Mackeye of the former Confederate Army, her erstwhile sawbones Wendell Lee, and three terrifying characters known as Unger, Donovan and “Bloody” Bill Anderssen, most folks know that to see them in town means trouble isn’t too far behind."

Maybe you could set up an interesting narrative scenario with both of these Posse Sets. You and a friend could take on one of them each and play through some story-based game together.

I think the match-up would be rather fun to see and works well alongside the background of Wild West Exodus.

What do you think?
