Prologue
On the 10th of May, a year on after the Berlin revolution, a coterie of Anarchs in the city of Manchester, UK, are looking for a new haven. With the elders of the Sabbat and Camarilla retreating into the dark, and the looming threat of a new generation of “Inquisitors”, known within their own ranks and within Kindred society as “Runners”, after the Bow Street Runners, the need for a safe haven is paramount. Revolution is whispered in the back alleys, den and private club. Old rivalries emerge and scores are settled once and for all. Blood will run and ashes will be cast into the sunlight, and for some, an ascension will be had.
