Presley O’Bannon Joins Giants In Miniatures Range Next Month

Working in tandem with the Americans At War issue of Wargames Illustrated, the team has added another Giants In Miniature character to their collection for next month. Meet U.S Marine Presley O’Bannon.
Presley O'Bannon was a respected First Lieutenant of the United States Marine Corp who fought bravely in the First Barbary War and was presented with an iconic sword which is still worn to this day by certain ranks in the American military.
He was given the sword by Hamet Karamanli in recognition of his skill as a commander and fighter and if you want to find out more about him you can check out the Wiki HERE.

I think Hornblower may have been based on Presley for the show.
