Beautiful Painted Archer Militia Drop By From ParaBellum
June 22, 2018 by lancorz
Para Bellum Wargames have enticed us once again with their beautifully painted miniatures from the Archer Militia ranks for their world of Conquest.
The Archer Militia are not ones to be trifled with, those long-range bows surely have a good chance of keeping safe and dealing some heavy defences against the oncoming assault.
Looking at the previous artist's rendition of the Militia, the painter has really stayed true to form for the miniatures, I'm especially impressed with the attention to detail on the laces for the boots, authentic shine on the chain mail plus the patience to paint all those arrows is applause-worthy in itself.
While the colour scheme is bright and vibrant with contrasting highlights to the deep shadows of the trousers and chain mail, these are going to look beautiful on any table.
I'm incredibly impressed with the leather work on these models and it has really inspired me to nudge Lloyd in the office to see if he'll now lend me some Saga to practice on until I can get my hands on these.
How would you paint these Militia Archers?

I am not going to lie, I am looking forward to this game. This might be just what has been missing in rank and file fantasy genre. Rune Wars was just no up for the task. This is much darker, “realistic”, rules seems to be great, miniatures are in plastic, lore is great. I hope they really succeed.
Ooh there fantastic looking figure’s
Those are some great looking realistic minis.
I’ll take some of those!
Man the poses… really not great. Para Bellum does a lot right, but the minis are the weak point.
Lot of effort’s gone into this. Any idea when it’s released?
