Antediluvian Go Bounty Hunting With New Sci-Fi Range
June 19, 2018 by brennon
Antediluvian Miniatures are going to be coming to Kickstarter this week on June 22nd with their Sci-Fi Bounty Hunter collection in 28mm scale.
The range is set to bring out a collection of Bounty Hunters for you to use in your games on the tabletop. With some awesome games out there like Core Space and Rogue Stars, for example, a big variety of different hired guns might come in useful!
With a look at the first few previews for this range, they really are coming in all shapes and sizes. I think the black-clad Bounty Hunter here looks insanely cool...and is that flamethrower that she's holding?
The Bounty Hunters range from those that look familiar to styles we've seen before to big ol' space reptiles like you will have seen in the first image. I particularly liked this pair as you could imagine them being at the helm of a ratty (pun intended) ship.
...and then of course maybe you have the more corporate Bounty Hunters who have assembled into a larger group. Whilst many of them out there on the fringes of space are nothing more than outlaws, you could have some that are making things a bit more official.
To be fair, in the context of the narrative (and from past dives into pop culture) they might actually be even worse than the other Bounty Hunters! Nothing worse than giving a thug a badge and letting him have the authority to anyone he likes out!
I think this range is looking inventive and a perfect way to add more options to many different games out there.
What do you think?

@brennon : tsk tsk, I’m disapointed in you as a dwarf player not noticing the squat bounty hunter.
?
Is the black armoured one female? Looks more like a droid to me (although I suppose it could be s female droid).
I could easily see the guy with the rat in Necromunda as a bounty hunter, as could the yellow three, being a trio of ex-guardsmen (either retired or deserters).
I was thinking it was a black armoured lady yeah, although it could work equally well as a droid – I think the helmet is the thing that could swing it either way.
Also, does the crocodile guy in the banner put anyone else in mind of the Judge Dredd arc where I think he was called Judge Cal took over as head Judge and brought in reptilian mercenaries to replace the human Judges?
Yep. there’s a definite Klegg vibe with that lad.
Great looking figure’s they could work well for star wars as well I think.
Interesting times ahead with this!
