Having let the base coat properly dry over night, gave them an overall black wash with GW Nuln Oil, and painted the base Formala P Greatcoat grey, in hindsight and on the larger knights will do base 1st and Wash the lot.

Then I dry brushe the model Army Painter Plate Mail, before block painting MP paints Exile Blue and Army Painter Dragon Red, and a wash of GW Reikland Flesh on the Exhausts melter barrels and the fuel tank on base, then Washed wit Nuln Oil base hence earlier comment.

Base colours done, time for cup of tea, start detailing in part 3, gold is P3 Solid gold, and faces used Army painter Skeleton bone.

Been busy today with detailing and highlighting. On the Blue an Red areas , began highlightig by putting on a lighter blue shade , initially with a 20 year old citidel blue , found by a mates sister, no label on it! Then edging and raised surfaces GW Mccragge Blue, likewise with the Red , using P3 Khador red and then mixing Khador Red Highlight, The heads were highlighted wit P3 highlight white( very pale cream) the transparency on the cockpit cover was a base ghost grey by Vallejo and a P3 blue ink put on top
