New From 4Ground; Wild West Outposts & Towering Sniper Positions
June 11, 2018 by brennon
4Ground have a couple of new releases for you, each with distinctly different genres in mind. The first is their Wild West Stockade Fort for your games set out in the great American plains.
The individual components for this will be available in the future, but this set gives you a small and no doubt temporary set up for your troops to hunker down as they get assailed on all sides by the angry native tribes (and rightfully so!).
It is simple and easy to put together, not requiring too many components, and could be dumped into a big arid landscape like you see here, or deep in a lush forest. The perfect place for a last stand.

If you're instead looking towards modern warfare then you might want to check out the 28mm Pylon Tower they've added to the mix.
This kitbash brings together their Pylon Kit with some of their extra wreckage to create a place where a sniper could safely watch the action below. Having a series of these strung out across the board (much like what we did with The Walking Dead) would make for a superb scene.
If you're interested in a bit of Ghost Recon-style action this would be a grand shout.
What do you think?

ooh back to the Cowboys n (native American Indians) guys.
handy! the stockade for ACW in particular but more obscurely, what if the stockade had been erected around the pylon as a strategically important strong-point in some post apocalyptic scenario… zombie assault maybe hehe
nothing says “pre registered artillery coordinates” like a sniper tower …
Really liking both of these 😀 .The Pylon could be used in a ” Tremors ” type scenario in a 7TV pulp scenario game.
Is this not just the stockade from Sleevigal Fort, with an extra corner bit instead of the watch tower? If so I hope they do a conversion kit so that I can use the kit both ways. That would be great for Tombstone, WWE and Fabled Realms!
One step closer to a Roman Fort ?
I like the outpost as it really does seam like it will fit into so many different game systems and periods. I may have to pick it up!
