Japanese And German Armoured Officers Lead the Attack In Konflikt 47

Warlord Games have released some new officer figures for the Japanese and German forces in Konflikt 47, using the latest in heavy armour to protect them on the front lines.
The German War Machine
The Germans make good use of their Heavy Infantry Armour, and the officers of these companies go similarly attired for war.
The German Heavy Armour Platoon Officers lack the heavier weapons of their men, but nonetheless provide a valuable leadership role as their platoon form the spearhead of the attack.
Also accompanying the German forces are the new specialist Medic.
It should not be possible for a medic to look that creepy.
These guys accompany elite German units, using experimental rift-tech to bring wounded soldiers back from the brink. Of course, there may be one or two long-term side effects...
Leading The Japanese Charge
The Japanese are well-known for their Banzai charges, made more dangerous by their Battle Frames.
The Japanese officer leads from the front, wearing armour that embodies their the nation's samurai heritage.
I love the look of the Officer model. It is just the right level of over the top, and the simple addition of the crest turns the domed helmet into a proper kabuto.

Really liking the german mini’s,that is definitely not the doctor i would want treating me….
Is it just me, or does the paint scheme on the Japanese minis make them look like Tau?
The German medic looks really good; looks like he’d make for a great torture tech henchman for an Inquisitor. 😉
Well, part of the reason they look like Tau is both these models AND the Tau were inspired by the same sources. The color (“Tau Ochre”) is the yellow/tan of WW2 Imperial Japanese Army uniforms. The Armor looks similar as both are based off the Samurai armor aethic of the overlapping armored plates. The only real difference is the Konflikt style advances that aethetic to a Weird WW2 level, while Tau advance it to a more futuristic aesthetic.
Ooh wow fantastic figures the Germans could be fab guard stormtroopers and the Japanese would be interesting as 30K Tau troops.
30-35k Tau troops sounds ace
That’d be an impressive achievement for the Tau considering they hadn’t even reached the Stone Age in M31. ?

Very creative, particularly the Japanese ones.
I like how the German medic soldiers remind me of the armored guys from the anime “Jin Ro: The Wolf Brigade”.
I love both the German and Japanese sculpts. I went in with the Americans as I did not have an American Bolt Action force and wanted something different. A little regret is forming as I really like the German and now Japanese forces. I guess I need a little more rift technology to spice up my American force.
