Once it had dried I gave the whole model a liberal wash of GW's Reikland Fleshshade.Once it had dried I gave the whole model a liberal wash of GW's Reikland Fleshshade.
I dried that with a hair dryer because I am extremely impatient and was keen to finish this guy!  After I had dried the wash I painted the base colours that weren't skin.  I did the fur brown with a flesh coloured dry brush,  his robes red and the metal of his axe and brooch things Leadbelcher then picked out the gems with a bright green. I then gave those sections a Nuln Oil wash.I then gave those sections a Nuln Oil wash.
I then highlighted the whole model.  The started with the skin doing a layer of GW's Kislev Flesh, then a second layer of that mixed with some white,  I then picked out the high lights on the rest of the detail using the base colours.I then highlighted the whole model.
