Return to the Cold War With Plastic Soldier Company
Justin catches up with Dan from the Plastic Soldier Company to talk about their new game Red Alert. The depth of mechanical representation is felt in Red Alert with large arcs of movement as you might expect in a fleet combat game.
I saw Red Alert a few days ago and was impressed. I think it’s a command and colours reskin
Red alert might scratch the BFG itch so I’ll have to look out for that on the 6th, Cold war looks & sounds good but I’d struggle to get enough people to play it
The scale of the fleets looks great for large combat scenarios.
I love plastic soldier kit for 15mm war games but their KS track record isn’t that good so do some research before backing. I backed Battle of Britain and its been a disaster ,they are redoing the model planes but the rules are awkward to learn the way they are written and Comms during KS was non existent when things went sideways .I will buy there kits but will not back KS
one of best companies in industry, I love their products .
PSC made good on the problems with the planes. Good to see a company that rewards fans and builds a reputation for honesty.
always got room for more wee spaceships
Spaceships!
Good luck on that Red Alert KS. I’ll check it out when you put it up.
Interesting stuff coming out. Tanks are great
Fun with Mutually Assured Destruction. Somehow I don’t miss the unCool War.
PSC never fails to deliver
looking forward to Red Alert, need more spaceship games
Nice to see plastic soldier branching out into games of their own. I just admit I just assumed Red Alert was going to be based on the computer game so was pleasantly surprised to find out if was a space battle gwme.
Ooo,i did see this one but didnt manage to have a chat to them. I do love space games, the hex based movement puts me off a little but worth having a look into I think.
Realy nice spaceships, wants to look at some how to play videos on Red alert, seems it likes me.
I could ge behind those fleet battles
