@mage Hex beasts are Humans corrupted by RJ1027. They can be played in a Hex army as your basic troop type… like Hired Hands in other armies, or, in our case, as a normal human who mutates in game. Some of the characters in most factions have a trait called “Tainted” (Which basically means they have been too close to RJ1027 for too long) and when killed have to make a roll, if passed they die and if failed they turn into a Hex Beast (and can cause you all sorts of poo).

The Steve Jackson Books? I did have one a few years ago…. Never got through it though, I’m not very good at decisions…. mmmm….Yeah maybe D and D is best avoided 😀
