not too old, that’s what I use for my audio recording when I used to have a youtube channel.

Audacity records and edits but doesn’t encode.

Go to here to download the windows version of lame.

When you export Lame automatically kicks in you don’t need to do anything clever, audacity sorts it out. Any questions give me a poke
