The Red Republik have not tried to hide their presence. Moving in and rebuilding a rundown section of the city, they have cowed the local populace through fear. Though those who live under their thumb do so in relative safety enforced, in part, by the visible presence of their goons. This fear keeps most from talking and much of the information coming from their district is hearsay. Proclamations of a new, safe life under their protection come straight from the team’s leaders.

Professor Hammer – the leader of the team, who does so with a literal iron fist. A threat to all who face him, the Professor is willing to harm his own team if it gets them into the fight faster. He is very willing to get in the thick of the fighting and will often be the spearhead of his team’s attacks.

S.P.U.T.N.I.K. – unparalleled intelligence in a broken body, S.P.U.T.N.I.K. travels the field in his rocket chair. His heightened brain activity has manifested in psychic powers and he is able to control the minds of weak-willed foes or use his mind to throw dumpsters, cars and trucks as weapons.

Snieschinka – the Snow Witch or the Ice Witch, depending on her form – exposure to an unknown substance has given her powers to use the elements to fly, project attacks of pure cold and alter her being to one of impregnable ice if the situation warrants. The cruellest of all the Red Republik members, few want to be caught in her icy gaze.

The Toolbox membersThe Toolbox members

Tangent – a super who has been seen around Pulp City before, Tangent has found her home with the Red Republik. A marksman of unprecedented skill, Tangent is called upon to make the impossible shot. A consummate professional who is a danger to any in her view.

Siberian – strange genetic modifications has left Siberian with large cat traits. A master marksman and infiltrator, Siberian also lays an array of traps and snares so cleverly constructed and hidden that unsuspecting foes do not see them until it is too late.

Prisoner #176 – no one knows what terrors and tortures were inflicted on Prisoner #176 to turn him into the creature he is today. His deadliness when unleashed, however, is not in question. An array of mechanical arms fused to his nervous system extends his combat reach and lets him wade into a crowd of foes without a thought.

The foot soldiersThe foot soldiers

Much of the muscle that enforces the Red Republik’s will has been seen in the form of mechanical constructs that act independently or in concert.

Red Robots – have been seen equipped several different ways for a variety of tasks. For those who fight, it is either loaded for ranged attacks or up close and personal. Several of these units have been seen to work together to fill out a team’s ranks.

Sentry Bots – though fragile and of limited effectiveness, scores of these minions are employed by the Red Republik to extend their eyes and ears and as cannon fodder while they solidify power. When threatened, a favourite tactic of these bots is to get as close as they can to a group of foes and self-detonate. It is rumoured underground assembly lines are churning these out as quickly as they are used up.
