I suspect that the spiders would struggle against ranked up units. The key would be, as you guys say, to send in the big spider and soften up the enemy.

I have another arachnophobia waaagghh!!! list: Goblin Warboss+gigantic spider+armor of fortune+potion of str+sword of strife+luckstone+shield: 218 (2+ armor, 5+ ward, 6 atk S4, reroll one armor save, potion of str) great goblin shaman+lv 4+arachnarok+the other tricks+talisman of endurance: 515 (the enemy reroll ward save!!! vs arachnarok atk, 5+ ward) Snagla Grobspit: 115 (great ambush) 4*Goblin big boss+gigantic spider+spear+short bow+shield+light armor: 332 (one in each spider unit, Ld and atks) 6* 10 spider riders+bow+full command: 1020 (core units, a lot of light cav) 6 spear chukas: 210 (a little help) 2*arachnarok: 580 (3 arachnarok in total!!!) total: 2990 what do you… Read more »
Really enjoying all the lists you guys are making but I have one request. Can you please show us a complete list showing the total army. You don’t need to post point values or info that would upset GW but just write down 30 orcs with additional hand weapons, 30 black orcs etc. Keep the videos coming!
I really enjoy the BoW-Weeks, they’re just great. Keep up the good work! To the list: As user “mkamui” mentioned in his list, you can put a Goblin Shaman on an Arachnarok as a lord choice. So you could (and should) put in three in your list! 🙂 Here is a list i made, its 2000P. It has 2 Units of Goblins, which would get some bits from the Spider Rider Sprues in order to let them look like Forest Goblins. Really cool list, especially because I think the arachnarok model (bar its undersized base) is awesome, as have always been the spider riders. Excellent fluffy list guys
This is perfect… I have like 40 spider riders from the old battle for skull pass box set…
loving the idea of increasing unit costs… keeps an army nice and varied… helps counter spamming… like 10 spear chukkas… 😉
