Justin, instead of bleeping Warren when he says a naughty word, you should do what the telly did back in the 80’s and dub him.

“Enough is enough! I have had it with these monkey-fighting snakes on this Monday-to-Friday plane!”
lol
Love it
It does however remind me of the now legendary (at least in BoW) dubbing @dignity did during Nam Week.
Where I held up my five fingers and proudly announced (in a slightly disjointed way) FOUR!
Speaking of both dubbing and living in the US. When I first got over there I was surprised to see the telly showing films like Kill Bill in the afternoon. But when I watched them I found that not only did they dub the out of them, but when it came to the violent bits, the screen would just go black and the sound would cut out.
Great idea, muddy funster!
Hehe love it.
Still remember the dub of Aliens…
You God damned melon farmer!
I didn’t realise you could have up to 68 players for Werewolf! As much fun as it was with 18, I am definitely in if you try for a 68 player game!
There are get-togethers (mostly at universities) where 100+ people play Werewolf over a weekend. It usually involves splitting into several different ‘towns’ with their own deck. And then there is a version of the game with events, where people can be sent off into the wilderness or to another town.
I used the basic version of Werewolf as a class introduction at a college where I worked. It was great to see people’s personalities become apparent in a few rounds.
did anyone else have trouble with the video turning green and no sound at about 25 mins?
Same here except it happened at 7:30 every time. Right clicked in window, went to settings, video settings on far left, unchecked hardware acceleration. Refresh page and problem should go away.
Nevermind! It happened again with acceleration turned off.
This is in Chrome on Win 8.1, btw.
Superb again guys.
Ultimate Werewolf looks amazing, count me in if you ever manage to work out how to run it on chat.
I run Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow, the game it is based on, on a regular basis at my gaming club. However, it has actually become too popular and I have started to run out of cards to accommodate everyone. This ultimate version is a Godsend and I have just ordered it.
Cards against humanity. Then you don’t need to see them next year.
There’s a game I would *not* play in the pub! 🙂
The online chat or forum game of Werewolf sounds like fun, I would definitely sign up. I was rather envious of those of you that could make the meetup but since I live in Luxembourg unfortunately there’s not much chance of me making it. I’ve not played Werewolf yet, it’s sitting on the shelf waiting for my 67 mates to turn up but I was surprised that you didn’t go for The Resistance as a more entry level type game. We’ve played that a few times here with family and friends and everyone had a great time. It’s a similar… Read more »
The family doesn’t know it yet, but they are getting Formula D for christmas. I now you recommended it a while ago but it struck me ago one that was perfect for us so I held onto it till now.
Thanks Warren!
@warzan – America with a British sense of humour? I believe you’re referring to Canada.
Doesn’t it get a bit cumbersome with all the special roles?
Seriously @warzan how could you notice all the shit I got in my face and ears lol
*not notice even
Velociraptor! Cannibalism! looks fun, but its only being sent to backers. So cant buy for Xmas at all.
Aroooooooooooo!!!!!!! Great XLBS. They should do a Zombie Cannabalism version. Eating your own head comes naturally to zombies, mmmmmmm, brains…..
“Why me? Why me?” Robocop in the store.
I just showed the segment on Velociraptor Cannibalism to my girlfriend. This is so being introduced into our gaming group! Looks hilarious!
Also, I have the first version of the werewolf gaem. It IS really funny!
Also, we used to play a game called “Mafia” were you have the mafia, cops, and towns folk. Mechanically identical to Werewolf. Very fun game but I would say you need at least 10 people to have fun with it. Fewer than that and it’s tough to get a feel for people and what’s happening because it goes to fast.
The ability to talk about eating your own head, on camera straight faced for so long.
True professionals
Loved the games, really great you can share the details of the game mechanics with us for these off the wall games. My kids will love the velociraptorcanabilism game, and I have plans on the werewolf one for my work Christmas party. I can only imagine the fun 20 emergency nurses and 4 doctors will have with that one. It might get a little silly.
Another great vid guys 🙂 had me in hysterics much to the annoyance to my wife ( she was watching some rubbish on tv )
