    It is ?

    I must say I’m not a fan of the premise (not all characters need to have their past demystified), but given that Rogue One was so much better than the 2nd part of the new trilogy I’m giving it a shot this weekend myself.

    How does it compare to Rogue One ?

    No bloody Jedi ?

    Saying yay or nay on the Jedi question could be considered spoilerish this early in, unless making a comment relating to stuff from the trailers lets not give too much away for a few weeks. Infact if not already I’ll go get Solo discussion thread going advertising spoiler zone 🙂

    Well we all know the biggest spoiler of them all :

    Chewy, Lando and Solo will survie their exploits.

    Everyone else probably won’t … 😉

    I just hope they explain his infamous Kessel run line *grin*

    The best thing about Rogue One was the fact that they didn’t have any Jedi and ‘the Force’ wasn’t as in yer face as it was in the ‘normal’ movies.

    I’m kind of hoping the same will be true for Solo

    // btw:

    not saying yay or nay is a spoiler in itself too … so :-p

    I would love it if the film ended with the Millenium Falcon being destroyed (with all crew on-board). Then the credits play in silence, with absolutely no explanation for how the other films would ever take place 🙂

    (I’m guessing that doesn’t happen though 😉 )
