Get Frothing Over Tank Girl in The Next Frothers’ Charity Thingy

It's time once again for miniatures to make money for charity as The Next Frothers' Charity Thingy begins to get underway. We have just seen the first sculpt which will be appearing, an awesome rendition of Booga from the comic Tank Girl.
Booga is a mutant Kangaroo and the boyfriend of the comic's titular character Tank Girl (yeah it is a really weird comic), but here they have brilliantly captured the style of the character with a crisp, clean and very well done miniature.
Apparently we can look forward to seeing Tank Girl herself as well I am definitely looking forward to seeing how these characters are conveyed.
Will you get frothing over these minis for charity?
I will definitely have to get the Tank Girl mini for my wife as she was a big fan film. While the ‘Rippers’ were kind of goofy, that’s certainly a well executed sculpt!

The Tank Girl comic was great, the film was naff. I hope they keep to the look of Jamie Hewlett’s art with the mini the way they have with Booga. Fun Jamie Hewlett fact, his father-in-law is former Rapido and Eurotrash presenter, Antoine de Caunes.
Indeed. I remember Eurotrash fondly… Eddie Izzard and all. Antoine de Caunes is an actor and TV presenter, but also a producer, now presenting one of the most successful talk shows on french television.

I remember first seeing Jamies stuff with Swifty in a Stitch in time etc when it was a two pager on the back of 2000ad and Ive loved his funky style ever since. I realy like this and its a lovely crisp mini. I think Ive found my Coach for DreadBall. Happy day. Now if theyd only do Hewiligan… his haircuts hole having to look the same from every angle Ill overlook :0
