Scibor’s Polish Crew Pilot a Tiny Tank
November 21, 2013 by dracs
For their latest WIP Scibor have stepped out of the worlds of fantasy and sci-fi to bring us something from modern warfare, the crew of a Polish Tankette.
The Crew, pictured here beside a tankette miniature from Wrzesien1939, are sculpted at 1:72 scale and are dressed in the Polish uniforms of WWII.
The tankette has always held a little fascination for me as one of the more bizarre contraptions of the war. I suppose the idea behind it is sound enough, providing light support for infantry and scouting missions, but its light armour meant it was ultimately scrapped.
Will Scibor's crew pilot your tankette?

I built a 1:72 scale model of the TKS a while back. Except my model had tracks made from individual links… The horror…
I rather like it when Scibor goes the way of real modern armies as I see they got a talent for it.
Love Scibor stuff , just waiting for GW to try and close em down , if they haven’t already ……….
