Warlord Set You Up For A Bolt Action Farmhouse Assault/Ambush

A pair of new scenario-styled sets has been released for Bolt Action by Warlord Games. Both of them focus on the idea of ambushing/assaulting a farmhouse in the depths of European winter.
The first of these that we're going to look at is for the Ambush which features the Germans. You get a set of their new German Winter Infantry as well as the plastic Farmhouse and Jadgpanzer 38 Hetzer.
The second set offers up the British side of this conflict with the Assault.
Here you get some extra support in the shape of a Cromwell and M5 Halftrack. You also get a contingent of ten metal Winter Infantry for your British force too.
Now, if you combined both of these sets together you'd have a larger farmyard conflict where both of these armies have stumbled upon each other and now have to fight for control of the area until reinforcements arrive.
Specifically, with the German Ambush set, you do get a LOT of models to play around with so you'll be able to build a significant infantry force quickly. I really the skirmishing man-to-man style fighting you get in Bolt Action, and so just starting off with a single plastic kit can be a great option.

The bombed out farmhouse look’s good.
That destroyed farmhouse looks nice.
The sets are good and the combinations inspiring. However, I won´t get any of them. Yet. Why? Because on one of the websites I visit regularly I found announced … fanfare for the gaming man … the 88mm FlaK gun in plastic for the Germans, with seven crew in metal. How awesome is this?
The farmhouse´s got to wait.

s, a great way in for people who want to play Bolt Action, but who dont have the pennies to buy an army. On the other hand if you like playing small games, then this is the way in for you. Nice looking farm house.
