The Allies Wrap Up Warm In Winter Gear For Warlord Games’ Bolt Action

Warlord Games released some new model kits for Bolt Action over the last few days. We've seen the Germans getting wrapped up warm in their winter gear but now the allies have been doing the same.

We start with a new US Airborne Squad which is all covered up and ready to get stuck into the fighting during the coldest months of the year. The set comes with a range of soldiers armed with submachine guns and rifles. This is then bolstered by two character-based sets featuring both US Army MPs...

...and also a set of general US Army Characters which can be used to lead the way as you're skirmishing across the tabletop.

I do like the chap who is running forward with the machine gun in hand, you can tell that he's destined to do something heroic on the tabletop. Well, now I've said that he will most likely end up getting shot very early on in your games; sorry for the jinx!

Of course, here in Blighty, we're not adverse to the cold weather but we're still getting a set of winter warmers to keep us going through the changing seasons of the war.

I think that we have much more fetching outfits than the Americans. I'm not sure the big coats are quite as practical but they look better, and that's really what counts right? As you can see the set above comes with all manner of weapon options and character set up to be leaders too.
