Red Beam Designs Joins Forces With Warcradle Studios

The terrain company, Red Beam Designs, has now joined forces with Warcradle Studios to provide awesome terrain for their games and beyond.
Here's what they had to say...
Graham from Red Beam Designs says: "It is with great pleasure that Red Beam Designs is now with the lovely folks at Wayland Games!
We were flattered, and genuinely very surprised, to have received loads of enquiries from people who were interested in buying our business, but we decided that Warcradle Studios were the right people who we wanted to carry Red Beam Designs forward to a bright future.
I would like to take this opportunity to once again say thanks to all of you for the support and enthusiasm you have shown for Kirsty and me at Red Beam Designs. It's been quite an amazing journey for us and is something we will look back on very fondly."
This seems like a great move, to have a company that makes some very smart looking terrain now incorporated into Warcradle.
Watch this space for more terrain coming out of Red Beam in June this year.
Had you picked up any of their terrain?

great for the future of gaming.
More consolidation…
Better than them dying out completely.
I think it is the inevitable reverse swing of the industry pendulum. Kickstarter and emerging technologies led to a big expansion in the industry of start up companies, as time passes their long term endurance is tested. Those that have built up some resources in recent years are now in positions to expand as others who gave it a go but decide not/are unable to keep it going are looking to sell up.
This was great news, red beam are closing and Warcradle picked up their designs, they are really good kits, so it’s great they are going to be available again soon.
I’m glad their stuff will still be available. I’m looking around for some Necromunda-style kits and theirs appear well regarded.
Oh yay! I was very sad that Red Beam was closing; I’m glad that their designs will live on.
