Commander Han Solo and a group of deadly Rebel Commandos have been drafted in as future releases for Star Wars: Legion in new previews by Fantasy Flight Games.

Han Solo Commander - Star Wars Legion

Armed with his DL-44 blaster, Han Solo is a dangerous customer to come up against on the tabletop. He is able to make two shots each turn, targetting different units with his attacks if you so desire. He will almost always hit his target too, and the gun itself can punch through some heavy armour.

He even has an awesome card, Sorry About The Mess, which guarantees that you get to go first and equips him with both an aim and dodge token at the same time, making him one of the most prepared characters on the tabletop. Admittedly, you only get to activate him, but when used right it could swing the balance.

Rebel Commandos

As well as Han Solo we have the unit that could find itself under his command with some Rebel Commandos. Deadly snipers, assassins, saboteurs and more, they are some of the best of the best the Rebel Alliance has to offer.

As you might imagine, these troops are incredibly well trained and deadly at what they do. As well as coming as a larger unit as you can see above you can also break them down into a smaller squad, perfect for infiltration missions and sniping individuals from distance.

You can also equip them with explosives, ready to run up to vehicles and make sure they don't cause any more problems for your hunkered down forces.

It will be very interesting to see what the specialists will be for the Empire going forward. A lot of people have been talking about potentially seeing Death Troopers brought to the fore from Rogue One.

What would you like to see the Empire get as their specialist unit?
