One of the local gaming clubs put together a huge game of Starship Troopers. They tweaked the original rule set and made it a cooperative gaming experience where the players are working together as the military trying to fend off the bugs.
I want to know more!

Mongoose made a Starship Troopers game a couple of years ago, they probably use those rules. The minis are most likely Mongoose ones.

Not only are the bug minis worth a look, but also the marvellous jungle table, which is laid out and arranged well and seems to promise not only a good bug-killing game. Any kind of xenos-crushing should turn out fine.
The only good bug, is a dead bug. Would you like to know more….
Starship Troopers is a pretty cool game with pretty good mechanics.
Hmm… a co-op mode for a wargame would work pretty well for Star Troopers as players vs bugs. Pretty cool idea.
